The property

A spacious attached 17th century farmhouse in the centre of Williton, a thriving community near the Somerset coast, nestled between the Quantock and Brendon Hills.

Ideal for a large family to explore the delights of Exmoor and the stunning North Somerset coast and beaches, this attractively restored farmhouse will delight all that stay here.

With exposed oak and elm beams, original fireplaces, and individually designed bedrooms, this historic farmhouse combines character with modern living.

The large sitting room with inglenook fireplace is a cosy place to relax together in front of the woodburner.

The dining room has an attractive bamboo floor, large dining table for twelve and door to a further small reception room leading to the kitchen where there is a breakfast area, range gas cooker and plenty of space and appliances for two families to prepare some hearty home-cooked dishes.

All the bedrooms are designed with an individual theme connected with the owner’s interest in meditation.

Most of them can be either twin or super king-size double and most have the convenience of en-suite facilities.

Two of the main highlights of this lovely property are the private hot tub and sauna, perfect for superb relaxation after supper.

The garden is small but private.

There are plenty of stunning walks and cycleways to discover nearby, whether you choose coast or countryside, with the South West Coast Path which starts in Minehead along with the endless trails in the open moorland and quiet woodland of the nearby Exmoor National Park.

The North Somerset coast offers quiet beaches or more lively resorts such as Minehead, and all offer a variety of activities, individual gift shops, cafés and restaurants.

Take a ride on the West Somerset Railway, which carries visitors by steam along the coast to Dunster Castle and Watchet or inland through the villages of Stogumber and Crowcombe to Bishop’s Lydeard and return back to Williton.

This wonderful restored historic farmhouse offers plenty of space for everyone in your party.
