Dating back to the 18th century and being Grade II listed means that this cosy cottage is packed full of character, including exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace housing a woodburning stove.
A rural bolt hole, the cottage is beautifully presented and provides an ideal holiday home for five people with a separate sitting room, dining room and kitchen with underfloor heating on the ground floor, plus there is a double, twin and single bedroom, as well as a bathroom with underfloor heating on the first floor.
There is a small courtyard to the rear and there are fabulous country walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside, and with the dramatic appeal of Dartmoor just 10 miles away, the whole area is a walker’s and nature lover’s paradise.
Winkleigh is a friendly rural village offering two pubs, a cafe, shop and Post Office, as well as its own cider company!
The gorgeous sandy beaches of north west Devon including Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands and Woolacombe are all just 40 minutes' by car.
With many country inns, Devon farm shops and interesting villages in the area, a stay at this cottage will provide plenty of variety for the whole family.
