Set back from the road, this Washford cottage is one of several at Shells and is completely private, set in its own grounds. The modern open plan living area of this Washford cottage is extremely well-equipped and opens onto a wide wooden veranda overlooking the orchard, where you can sit and listen to the merry birdsong. The bedrooms in this Washford cottage are all on ground level, with wooden laminate flooring, and the addition of a gorgeous Italian marble-lined wet room makes for stylish living. Outside this Washford cottage there is a partially covered private hot tub, ideal for relaxing after a day out and about, taking part in the multitude of countryside activities in the area including fishing, golf, horse riding and walking the coastal path which starts at the pretty port of Watchet, 2 miles away. Four miles away is the historic village of Dunster, where the NT-owned castle towers over the narrow winding cobbled streets of the village. The family will love the beach resort of Minehead, a 15 minute drive from this Washford cottage, with a lengthy seafront, sandy beach, plenty of shops and a departure station for the West Somerset steam railway.
