Location: Pimperne

Blandford Forum 1.5 miles.

Pimperne is a thriving little community only 1.5 miles from the attractive North Dorset market town of Blandford Forum. To the north of the village lies Cranborne Chase, an area of outstanding natural beauty, where you can find Larmer Tree Gardens, a wonderful collection of ornate buildings and secluded arbours. Set on the banks of the River Stour, the Georgian town of Blandford Forum is well worth a visit. There's a market here twice a week, and lots of boutiques, antique shops, galleries and restaurants to enjoy. Also within the town, the Cavalcade of Costume museum is well worth a visit, or you can take a tour around the local brewery, a must for real ale fanatics, while the Royal Signals Museum at nearby Blandford Army Camp provides a fascinating insight into the world of espionage! An easy drive takes you to Dorset's stunning Heritage Coast, as well as Thomas Hardy's beloved Dorchester. In fact, there's so much to do in this lovely area at any time of the year, you're spoilt for choice!

Previous visitors' comments about Lerryn Apartment:

The lighting was the best we have ever had in our cottage experiences over many years. This is important for us to read. We enjoyed the convenience of moving easily from room to room. The owners were friendly and ready to help if necessary.

We spent almost a month in Jan-Feb at Lerryn. It is a place to enjoy living in. The owners could not have been more helpful.
