Within walking distance is the village of Compton Dundon, which has a pub serving food and a Post Office. Further amenities are in Somerton, just three miles away, and Glastonbury, best known for its music festival boasts the National Trust owned Glastonbury Tor. There are plenty of other attractions within reach including the city of Wells with its cathedral, Clarkes shopping village, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. Also in the area are two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, sandy beaches, Bath and Bristol. Two charming cottages with plenty to see and do in the area.

A rural village nestling at the head of the dreamy Somerset levels. Lush green meadows, meandering rivers, abundant wildlife all surrounded by steep and wooded hills; the countryside doesn’t come much better than this! Just 7 miles away, Glastonbury Abbey and Tor is famous for its pre-history, Ley lines and music festival. The majestic Wells Cathedral is also well worth a visit, and shopaholics are excellently catered for in Street. Further afield, the Regency City of Bath, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge are all an easy drive away. Overall, an outstandingly beautiful and easily accessible area with much to do and see.
