This really is a super base for exploring this lovely area, with so much to see and do within a short drive. The picturesque New Forest National Park is a haven for wildlife and home to herds of wild deer and ponies, while the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu provides a great day out. Or, how about spending a day enjoying the lovely beaches at Highcliffe or Bournemouth? You could even take a day trip to the Isle of Wight from nearby Lymington! A lovely house in a lovely location. It was excellent for all our planned outings, we never had to travel for more than 1/2 hour. There is a good pub just across the road which we thought might be noisy but wasn't, it was more of a family pub.
