    • “Really well presented light apartment in a great rural location. Wonderful views from the lounge and the decking area. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Lynn and Ray were perfect hosts.”

    • “If you don't mind the stairs (and the steps up into the garden) this is a great place to stay. The accommodation is bright and clean, exactly as described, and surprisingly quiet despite the proximity of the main road. Local dog friendly walks are extensive over the downs and through the water meadows in nearby Blandford where there is good shopping. Don't just go to the supermarket.Further afield East Dorset and Purbeck are easy to reach, with great scenery and much historic interest. We had a great time.”

    • “A well furnished, roomy apartment with lovely views in an area with beautiful countryside. Good walks, interesting places to visit. Great for 2, steep steps to access.”

    • “Lovely apartment in a great location.”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “Stayed for a week while exploring the surrounding countryside. The apartment is beautifully light and airy and well equipped and furnished. There are lovely views from the lounge and decking which makes a great spot for relaxing after a long day out or having a lazy breakfast in the sun. Local pubs are good and the village shop has a good stock of daily essentials, with larger shops and supermarkets just up the road. The only thing to be aware of is that access to the property is up a few steps so if you are less mobile this may be an issue for you. Pimperne is in a good location for getting around the surrounding counties, we travelled for no more than half an hour or so most days and saw plenty of the south coast as well as the beautiful market towns in the region.”

    • “We were sorry to miss the owner but received a warm welcome anyway. We liked the apartment & area very much. The parking was a little awkward but we managed. The apartment's facilities were excellent but we didn't find the sofas very comfortable.”

    • “A lovely chalet-style appartment with views over fields”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “We were welcomed by the owners and although they were on their way out they took time to show us around the appartment and made us feel welcome. The appartment itself was very comfortable and clean and was larger than I had expected. The people at the village shop were very obliging and kept a paper for us each morning. We walked every day as there is some lovely scenery round about. The only downside was that we did not have control of the central heating and as our visit was in February we found the evenings a little chilly. However when we asked the owners they put the heating on for us and it was cosy once more. There are wooden steps to reach the appartment which we in our sixties had no trouble with but anyone with mobility problems might have some difficulty. We were aware of the steps when booking”

    • “Fabulous location, Dorset's finest all drivable in less than an hour - Sandbanks (what a fab beach!) Weymouth, Bournemouth, we did them all, all helped along with great weather too! Closer to home, a couple of very nice pubs (good food) within a 5 minute walk and a little shop in the village. The best thing was the apartment, it was absolutely fabulous, and just perfect for us. It really felt 'home from home'. The owner was lovely, really friendly. We loved it!”

    Ms Nicholson, Baldock, June 2014

    • “The weather was not kind to us as it rained most of the week we were there! We were therefore not able to use the balcony which would have been lovely to use in good weather, especially as it overlooks open countryside. The apartment was really good and the owner really nice and friendly.”

Ms Dopson, St. Ives, April 2014

    • “We booked this holiday break to relax and unwind with peaceful surroundings. It was exactly what we had in mind when booking time away. The cottage was in a good location with all amenities included. The owner was very welcoming and friendly.”
