The cottage was very quaint and soon warmed up despite the extremely cold weather.

Cosy cottage in picturesque village. Lots of interesting places to visit in easy reach. Great walks on beautiful rolling downland particularly along the droves. More chocolate box cottages than you can shake a stick at! Thoroughly lovely area of the country.

We liked the possibilities for nice walks in the surroundings of the cottage, and the nice bedrooms with good mattresses - as well as waking up with sunshine! There was a pleasant atmosphere in the cottage. A quiet beautiful village, without lots of tourists. Kind people. We have seen a lot of wild animals, like deers, on our walks nearby and on a bicycle trip in the new forest. Sykes offers a good service.
