Templecombe offers good pubs, village shops and an abundance of lovely rural walks. Fly fishing is also available with day permits on offer for the local river. The ancient town of Sherborne, with its castle (once home to Sir Walter Raleigh) and abbey can be found a short drive away, along with the fascinating hilltop town of Shaftesbury, Stourhead gardens, Glastonbury and Stonehenge, all within easy reach. A superb base for exploring this lovely part of the world.

Along the front of the property a vine trail can be found with enough grapes to make a bottle of wine and to the back there is a delightful garden with a pond and hot tub. With Somerset, the coast of Dorset and many other attractions close to hand, this property is an ideal touring base.
