The property

The aptly named Grace Cottage is a charming early 19th century, mid terraced, church tithed cottage, situated in the historic town of Bruton, with lovely garden views of the ancient Dovecote, located near Castle Cary, Wincanton and Frome.

Beautifully furnished throughout in a country style, Grace Cottage is ideal for friends or families who want to spend time together in glorious Somerset.

Perfectly located to enjoy not just the lovely surrounding countryside but also the award-winning restaurants such as The Chapel and Roth Bar and Grill at the Hauser and Wirth Art Gallery, all located within the town of Bruton.

There is so much to do, with access to numerous walks and some of the best attractions the West Country has to offer, including Longleat House and Safari Park, the towns of Frome, Warminster, Midsomer Norton, Wincanton with its racecourse, as well as the cities of Wells and Bath.

Glastonbury, known for its annual music festival and Cheddar Gorge are also easily reached and there are numerous National Trust properties in the area such as Stourhead and Stonehenge.

For shopaholics there is the designer outlet Clarks Village in Street and the Mulberry Factory Shop in Shepton Mallet.

For additional adventure then visit the Mill on the Brue, an outdoor activity centre, just two minute's walk away and where you can experience a range of activities on one of the many courses they offer.

When accessing this lovely cottage you will get a taste of times gone by, appreciating the secluded and unique 19th century workers' entry route which has all the original charm that modern day living has lost.

When entering the cottage you will be met with an entrance hall, leading to a light and airy, carpeted living room housing a woodburning stove and dining area with patio doors to the terraced garden.

The original oak doors lead you to the well-equipped kitchen, which overlooks the terraced cottage garden, which has dining facilities and an outdoor woodburner for alfresco evenings under the stars.

Upstairs provides two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds both of which share a family bathroom with a shower.

Grace Cottage offers the best of both worlds, with easy access to the historic and charming town of Bruton, just a one minute walk to the high street with all its quirky shops, wonderful eateries and public footpaths into the countryside with many beautiful photo opportunities.

Take some time out, relax and enjoy this wonderful cottage, the unique environment and all that beautiful Somerset has to offer.
