The property

Kinlochbervie 3 miles.

Situated in a beautiful, remote and tranquil location in the hamlet of Oldshore Beg, near Kinlockbervie, with far reaching views this smart detached cottage ticks all the boxes.

With its fresh contemporary interior and easy access to some of the best white sandy beaches in the north of Scotland it is a wonderful holiday destination.

Mountain View would be ideal for a family or a group of friends who want to embrace the great outdoors and all it has to offer.

The accommodation is generously spread out with three bedrooms, two of which have sea views and one benefits from en-suite facilities.

The well-equipped and modern kitchen/dining room is a sociable area for guests to enjoy not only cooking a meal but enjoying it together around the table.

On a summer's evening why not open the French doors that lead onto a large decked terrace and sip a pre-dinner cocktail whilst soaking up the unspoilt beauty of the landscape?

On cooler evenings the comfortable sitting room with its large TV and cosy stove is a perfect place for relaxation before bed.

The area is quite breathtaking with rugged cliffs, sandy beaches and crystal clear blue seas and as you would expect there is an abundance of wildlife to be spotted.

For the outdoor enthusiast there is much to keep you busy, fabulous walks, cycles, climbs and fishing on the many lochs and rivers.

By car this is a great touring area as the roads are very quiet and Durness at the top of Scotland is just a short drive away.

Visit the spectacular Smoo Cave, a cave complex dating back some 5000 years, which is not to be missed.

This is a special holiday destination and a lovely home from home to be enjoyed by all.

About the location

KINLOCHBERVIE

Durness 18 miles; Lairg 46 miles; Thurso 89 miles; Inverness 94 miles.

Situated in the far north west of Scotland, Kinlochbervie is the most northerly of all the fishing ports and boasts a large fish handling depot from where catches are dispatched throughout Europe. Because of this the roads in the surrounding area are first class! The area has a stunning rocky coastline which attracts many visitors throughout the year. The village itself has a well-stocked shop, a post office and hotels and restaurant that are open all year round. From here it is easy to access both Oldshoremore Beach and the more famous Sandwood Bay Beach which some claim is the most beautiful beach in Britain!
