  • "Lovely property in a stunning location."

A cottage for a multi generation family holiday. The extra luxuries of the hot tub and the sauna were greatly appreciated and used too.

  • "Beautiful, well equipped, spotlessly clean house with high quality linen and fluffy towels."

The house has stunning views and is the perfect location for getting away from it all but still within reach of plenty of fantastic things to do in the West Highlands. Added bonus of the sauna, hot tub and good WiFi kept the older teenagers happy in the evenings.

  • "Absolutely stunning property ina great location."

Perfect for our weekend. Use of the EV charger was greatly appreciated also - very convenient. The only criticism we had was we didn't feel that the hot tub had been cleaned. There were many flies and these were in the hot tub but we couldn't find a net to clear these. We didnt use the tub as often as we had liked as it didn't smell like it had been cleaned. The property was better than the pictures.

I'm delighted that you enjoyed Holly House. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I'm sorry you didn't think the hot tub was clean. We clean it between guests and our external hot tub maintenance company fully emptied, sanitised and refilled the day before you arrived. We use Bromine to keep the water clean and it has no odour if the water is completely clean. I'm sorry about the midges. Despite the seal of the cover they are so small they find a way in, looking for still water and they die in brominated water. This is usually not an issue as they are filtered out , I apologise if there were many of them, it is a problem in the Highlands of Scotland in summer. The suggestion of a net is a good one that we will add as a backup. Once again thanks for staying at Holly House Property Owner

  • "Holly House was everything we expected, the write up was very accurate as per the listing."

8 adults were in my party and the house provided enough space for privacy but also encouraged us to be together, cooking meals, eating together and chatting. Totally relaxing with the facilities of the hot tub, sauna and amazing views. Great location for walking, bike rides and only a short drive to local restaurants. We were blessed with great weather Welcome pack was much appreciated

What a fantastic place! The House was clean and tidy when we arrived, and they left some goodies out for our stay. The house was perfect and exactly how they described it in the listing. The hot tub and sauna were amazing. The views were beautiful. It was one of those houses that you felt at home and did not want to leave at the end. Plenty of walks around and pictures to be taken. Lovely drive to Fort William when we went out for the day. Fireplace that made the living room very cosy and a fantastic kitchen (With the Super-Secret cutlery draw!) We would defiantly would love to come back to this house again! 15/10! Can highly recommend this place to anyone. There was something amazing being able to sit in the hot tub at night and see the stars. If you are looking for a lovely place to go, you will not be disappointed by this house. Thank-you again to the owners for such a fantastic week!

Thank you so much for your review. We are genuinely delighted that you loved Holly House, it is a joy to be able to share this wonderful place with others. • "Holly House is stunning and is surrounded by amazing scenery."

The perfect base for touring the Highlands or just to relax and unwind. We used the house to meet up with family, there were ten of us in total ( I had booked 9 originally but had to change at last minute. Sykes and the owners helped with this without any issues). The owners contacted us a week before visiting to help with any questions etc. We were all impressed with the size of the house, plenty of room to move about and how new yet homely it felt. We all enjoyed using the sauna and had a day of relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the snow topped mountains. Thanks Sykes for making booking easy but most of all Thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in your stunning property.
