  • "Wonderful surroundings."

Beautiful cottage. Helpful caretaker. Only thing we missed were a reliable wifi/internet and there was also no freezer (however, the fridge was ok).

  • "Lovely clean place, beautiful location."

Just problem with water supply, couldn’t use water, had to boil water or buy water

  • "Nice lodge but the WiFi is horrendous at less than 1mbps."

Eventually got on the web but if more than 2 people want to browse the internet you can forget it. The TV is WiFi as well so had a few problems with that losing connection as well. A freezer would be nice. We bought some frozen supplies but had nowhere to put them. The ice cream didn't last long

Fort Augustus 7.5 miles; Fort William 24.5 miles.

The village of Invergarry is situated in a peaceful location, next to the River Garry. The village offers a hotel, ruins of Invergarry Castle and a pine wood. Within driving distance is Fort Augustus, which is set at the southwest end of Loch Ness, on a stretch of the Caledonian Canel, and offers a number of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst other places to visit in the area include the towns of Fort William and Aviemore

There are building works at a neighbouring property until January 2024 - this may result in some noise on weekdays between 9am and 4pm.
