This detached Highland cottage is set in heart of the pretty village of Cannich, and offers an excellent base for guests with easy access to the Glen Affric National Nature Reserve and the wonderful villages and towns in the area. Ideal for a family or group of friends, this Cannich cottage would suit those who enjoy the great outdoors and would appreciate the peace and tranquillity that this very special area has to offer. With a welcoming open fire in the sitting room and a cosy woodburning stove in the dining room, guests can really snuggle down in this Highland cottage and unwind at the end of an active day out. Also on the ground floor is a well-equipped kitchen, whilst upstairs are two bedrooms - a double and a twin, as well as a bathroom. Double gates provide access onto the cottage garden, where you can relax with a glass of wine before venturing out to a local pub for some tasty food. The world famous Loch Ness is a short drive from this Highland cottage and you must visit the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition, as well as the imposing ruins of Glenurquart Castle with its fantastic visitor centre. This Cannich cottage will ensure a most enjoyable holiday in the Highlands of Scotland.

This is an excellent base for exploring the Glens of Affric, Cannich and Strathfarrar. The local pub, The Slater Arms was good and the local shop very useful. We were blessed with fine weather. The use of the boat on Loch Mullardoch made the circuit of the Mullardoch 4 easy and the ascent of Beinn Fhionnlaidh etc straightforward.

The location of the property was excellent for our purposes situated in the middle of some fantastic scenery. Having wireless broadband at the property was a great bonus allowing us to research local attractions.
