The main town in the Western Highlands, Fort William lies on the banks of Loch Linnhe, and offers a wide variety of shops, and pubs which serve a fine selection of meals. The area boasts spectacular scenery and a plethora of walking opportunities, from gentle ambles to more strenuous expeditions, and of course, Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Ski enthusiasts will also enjoy the Nevis Range, a ski resort with a mountain gondola, located just four miles from Fort William. For a more relaxing break, why not take a tour of the Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery, or visit the Glenfillan Monument. An ideal location for exploring the best of the breathtaking West Highlands.

All on the ground floor and with two bedrooms, this Fort William cottage also has its own weather station providing forecasts, particularly useful for the outdoor enthusiasts. Just a 15 minute walk away is the bustling town of Fort William, making this cottage perfect for guests who want to enjoy skiing on the nearby Nevis Range or perhaps tackling Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. There are plenty of attractions for the less energetic, with the Ben Nevis Distillery nearby where you can sample the local whisky, or perhaps take a boat trip on the loch to see some wildlife. This area of Scotland has so much to see and do, that you will definitely be planning a return trip to your Fort William cottage.

Lovely comfortable cottage with fantastic views over the loch. Better than I imagined it might be! We loved the cosy soft carpet. Very well equipped, had everything we needed. It felt warm and welcoming, particularly important during a rather wet, windy and cool summer. The area is stunning. Thanks again.

A great house with high comfort, perfectly maintained and equipped with lots of tiny but useful detail (books, DVDs and maps, chairs for outside). We loved the house and felt immediately comfortable. The view across Loch Linnhe is so marvellous - there is no real need for a TV.
