Connemara National Park is close by for a great day out, as is the world famous Kylemore Abbey with its breathtaking views and beautiful setting. With guided walking tours, world class golf, horse riding, angling, historic houses and boat trips to enjoy, there is something to please even the most discerning of visitors!

Dating back to the 1800s, this delightful Connemara cottage has been tastefully renovated and modernised, while still retaining many original features. The open plan living area features stone floors, a butler sink and warming woodburner, while the stable-type door adds to the traditional cottage feel. Outside, this Connemara cottage is surrounded by countryside and 25 acres of land, and offers visitors rural views from all aspects. Close by, there are numerous activities to keep the whole family occupied; play a round of golf on the world-famous links course in Ballyconeely or the parkland course at Oughterard, try fishing on the Screeb, Ballynahinch Casla or Corrib fisheries or enjoy walking, cycling scuba diving, pony trekking or mountaineering. This is a great Connemara cottage, all year round.

A haven of peace and tranquility. Very friendly pub/garage/shop. Coastline through gate beautiful and shared only with a few cows. Attention to detail in equipping cottage was second to none. A lot of care and attention had been applied.
