Moycullen provides an ideal base for touring the stunning counties of Galway, Mayo and Clare, all offering spectacular coastal drives and unspoilt rolling countryside. The location is a mecca for lovers of the outdoors. Within a short distance are the renowned Salthill and Spiddal beaches and the area is an ideal coarse angling centre with Ballyquirke and Ross Lakes just a cast away, while Lough Corrib, renowned for its trout fishing, is also close by. The Connemara Marble Factory and Celtic Crystal Factory are in Moycullen too. A day trip not to be missed whilst in the area is to the Aran Islands, a truly inspiring part of Ireland, home of the world famous jumper, and the start of Connemara, home to the famous Connemara Pony.

This detached, single storey Moycullen cottage is situated at the end of a 100 metre private driveway, set back from the main road, on the owner's working livestock farm, 2 miles from Moycullen and just 10 miles from Galway, County Galway. Rockfield House Cottage is ideal for friends and families, offering guests a large kitchen with tiled floor, three comfortable bedrooms, two with en-suite facilities, and a warming open fire, making an ideal Moycullen cottage for everyone. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, guests can relax in the sitting room, in front of the cosy open fire, watching the owner's cattle peacefully grazing in the lush green fields, or get out and about and see some of the wonderful things on offer. This Moycullen cottage is ideally located for great walking, beaches and angling, while the Connemara Marble Factory, Celtic Crystal Factory, beautiful Brigit’s Garden and three fantastic golf courses are all close by.
