Gurnard Pines is an attractive, family friendly holiday village, set within 55 acres of grass and woodlands, only one mile from the world famous yachting centre of Cowes, at the northern end of the Isle of Wight. The village offers a wide variety of quality leisure facilities on site, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym, sauna, children's play area, pizzeria, restaurant and bar, as well as a nature trail where you can see the red squirrels. A little further afield, there are numerous attractions to explore, including the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Queen Victoria's Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, and Ryde's glorious beaches, to name but a few. A superb location for an enjoyable family holiday!

A cosy, semi detached single storey holiday bungalow, nestling in a woodland setting within the popular, family friendly holiday village of Gurnard Pines, only a mile from Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Comfortably furnished, this Cowes cottage makes an excellent holiday base for all the family, with numerous leisure facilities within a short walk, including swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym and sauna, as well as a bar and restaurant. Should you tire of all this, there are plenty of attractions on offer close to this Cowes cottage, including the lovely beaches at Ryde, and Queen Victoria's Italianate summer home at Osborne House. A great Cowes cottage for a fun filled holiday!
All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x bunks (double on bottom, single on top). Shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting areas.
Full gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, books/games. First £10 of fuel and power inc. in rent, fuel card can be topped up at village centre. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Off road parking. Small private patio with furniture, shared lawned area beyond patio. Use of facilities including indoor pool, outdoor pool (26 May - 7 Sept), tennis court, gym, sauna etc. at additional charge - weekly membership for use of the facilities can be purchased from Gurnard Pines reception, weekly rates are £15 per adult and £8 per child. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and bar on site, 8 mins walk.

The property had many home comforts such as a washing machine and the children settled in really easily. The living area was a good size and we were able to fit the travel cot in the main bedroom. We liked Gurnard with its play area on the seafront & the one on the site. The children also enjoyed seeing red squirrels visiting the neighbours bird feeders!

Provision of high chair and travel cot made life easier. Welcome pack of tea and shampoo was useful. Also local info handy. Wildlife right outside window a lovely surprise. Leisure facilities on site were good. Overall clean, tidy and sufficient for a relaxing holiday.
