Binstead offers a shop and a pub, and Ryde itself, just a short drive away, offers visitors yet more options. There is a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants in the town, whilst the 6 miles of gently sloping sandy beaches are ideal for bathing. Along the esplanade there are bowling greens, an ice rink, ten pin bowling and children's rides, as well as a boating lake and paddling pool. With the whole of this picturesque island easily accessible, there is something to interest and amuse the whole family.

There is also a large lawned garden, ideal for relaxing after a day spent exploring this charming island. Ryde itself offers a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and family activities, not to mention miles of sandy beach, and close by visitors can enjoy a nostalgic trip on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, or visit Brickfields Horse Country. A superb base for an enjoyable family holiday.
