The Deck House is a spectacular three-storey contemporary holiday home set on the water’s edge of Island Harbour Marina, in the small hamlet of Binfield near Whippingham along the banks of the River Medina, half way between the centre of Newport and the famous yachting town of Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

Upon entering this wonderful home, you are instantly hit by the wow factor from the stunning marina views that flood in through one of the three large patio doors that are on each floor.

You will pass the ground floor cloakroom on your way to the open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area for up to 6 people and a small sitting area.

Large patio doors open out onto a balcony with table and chairs, just perfect for relaxing and taking in the utter tranquillity of Island Harbour.

Upstairs on the first floor, to your left is the spacious lounge, with three large comfortable sofas, Smart TV and patio doors that lead you out onto the second balcony, where the views become more far-reaching across the River Medina.

You will also find the family shower room and the double bedroom with dressing area.

On the second floor to your right is a twin room which can be arranged as a king-size double on request and to your left is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.

French doors open onto a Juliet balcony; just imagine having your morning tea or coffee with those breathtaking views, such an uplifting way to start your morning.

Outside you are surrounded on two sides with floating pontoons and berthing can be arranged via the owners or Island Harbour directly at an additional charge.

A short walk from Heron Square towards the Marina’s entrance you will find the superb Breeze Restaurant, which opens daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner or you can simply enjoy a refreshing drink, either inside or outside taking advantage of their heated outdoor decking area.

Why not take one of the regular water taxis to the famous Folly Inn, or further down the river to the sailing mecca of Cowes, with the many interesting boutique shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants?

Queen Victoria’s beloved Osborne House is only 3.5 miles away; experience the sheer beauty of every room, the terraces, views and gardens, not forgetting The Swiss Cottage, and now you can enjoy the private beach and calm waters of Osborne Bay.
