We booked last minute with 4 people so was a bit of a squeeze. Lovely hosts and are very accommodating and friendly. Fabulous spot for touring around and a beautiful part of the country.

  • "The cottage was gorgeous with a spiral staircase."

The owner of the farm was very welcoming ensuring we had everything we needed, guiding us through local places to visit. The local village is lovely walk with a quaint shop providing any groceries you need & a cafe with beautiful cakes. Although the pubs where only serving outside at the time of our stay they also sold lovely meals. We had lovely fresh eggs from the farm! It was a lovely quiet few days to re charge with long walks in the country, just amazing!

......we stayed for 2 weeks Each cottage has its own private garden and a lovely communal space at the front. Warm welcome from the owner. New covid restrictions very straight forward and didn't impact on our stay. Lots of walking in the surrounding area. Walking distance of the lovely Cider Barn Restaurant and Pembridge.

  • "We had a beautiful, restful holiday."

The owners were extremely friendly & helpful. The cottage was lovely & very well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our holiday; as well as useful information about activities in the area. The cottage was one of just a few cottages located on a farm so it was very peaceful, but still within easy reach of Leominster & Hereford. We would highly recommend it as a place to unwind & enjoy the beautiful British countryside.

The WiFi worked great. The owners were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The 3 of us staying had a lovely time; 2 had the bedroom and 1 slept on the sofa bed. The sofa bed was a little uneven but not an issue at all as everyone managed to sleep well. Lovely private garden was brilliant to have and sit out with a cup of tea in the sunshine. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

About the location

LUNTLEY

Pembridge 2 miles; Hay-on-Wye 20 miles; Ludlow 20 miles.

The tiny rural hamlet of Luntley is situated in the rolling hills of North Herefordshire, in the heart of the Welsh Marches, between Ludlow and Hay-on-Wye. Just 2 miles away is the medieval village of Pembridge, known as the “Jewel in the Crown” of the famous “Black & White Village Trail.” With its half-timbered houses, three excellent “olde worlde” pubs, a 14th century market hall and a church with a unique detached bell tower, this wonderful village is a delight to visit. The surrounding countryside is both beautiful and tranquil and offers excellent walking, cycling, riding and fishing. Further afield, but still within easy reach, are the ancient city of Hereford, Hay-on-Wye, medieval Ludlow, the wonderful Shropshire Hills, the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park.
