Just 10 miles away is the wonderful market town of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its 30-plus book shops, excellent pubs, restaurants and antique shops, making it one of the most visited tourist attractions in Wales. Surrounded by pleasant orchards and cornfields, the village is also close to the Offa's Dyke and Wye Valley walks. The epitome of picturesque England, the ancient city of Hereford lies 12 miles away and dates back to the 7th Century, boasting a magnificent cathedral, the famous 'chained library', and a medieval bridge over the winding River Wye. A great location with plenty to see and do for all the family.

Located within the beautiful Golden Valley amidst scenic Herefordshire countryside, this charming cottage successfully combines character with modern furnishings, boasting exposed beams, trusses and views of the valley below from the lovely ensuite bedroom, a delightful woodburning stove in the sitting room and a great outside paddock area, ideal for taking in the stunning mountain scenery. The whole area provides great walking and cycling opportunities with both the Offa's Dyke Pathway and the wonderful Wye Valley within easy reach, whilst the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park and the delights of neighbouring Shropshire, Worcestershire and the Cotswolds are all within easy driving distance. An ideal base for exploring all this fantastic area has to offer!
