A delightful 17th Century stone built detached barn conversion, standing in the pretty grounds of the owner’s country house and gardens in the hamlet of Welsh Newton, near the beautiful Wye Valley. Lovingly renovated to provide high quality accommodation including two ensuite bathrooms, the ground floor of the property is decorated and furnished in a contemporary style while the main loft bedroom has a sloping ceiling and exposed oak beams, creating a romantic atmosphere. Excellent walking can be enjoyed nearby along Offa’s Dyke, and the Wye and Monnow Valleys, while good fishing is available at the Rivers Monnow and Wye and local lakes. Cycling is also available nearby and in the Brecon Beacons, just half an hour away. With the lovely towns of Monmouth, Symonds Yat and Ross-on-Wye all within easy reach, this is a great holiday location for couples and families alike.

Note: Owner offers a free fly fishing lesson.
