This town is surrounded by seven mountains and has the River Usk running through it. Abergavenny has a castle with its own museum, churches, an indoor market hall, shops, pubs and restaurants. The Wye Valley and Vale of Usk provide excellent walks, plus the wonderful Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, Roman amphitheatre and baths at nearby Caerleon and even Cardiff are within driving distance, making Pandy an ideal base for a holiday to this area of Wales.
