Comfortable property, and we were greeted by owner who also left a welcome pack of groceries. Quiet, rural setting but accessible for historic towns and villages. Excellent local pubs. Our daughters enjoyed the small breeds and owl centre.

I was there for a couple of days at the beginning of January and had been delayed on my journey by adverse weather conditions. I was very grateful for the thoughtful welcome, provision of enough to make a hot drink and lovely warm, lit woodburner in the lounge. We had contact with the owners but they left us to our own devices as well. It was a perfect balance, very restful in beautiful surroundings in spite of the weather. The countryside is of outstanding natural beauty. Many thanks to Sykes and especially to the owners.
