Just 6 miles away is the UK’s loveliest medieval town of Ludlow, famous for its 13th century castle, wonderful shops, pubs, restaurants and its renowned festivals. The village is surrounded by the scenic countryside of Shropshire and Herefordshire and is in a perfect location for a walking and cycling holiday. Close by are many NT properties as well as Croft Castle, Berrington Hall, the Judge’s Chambers in Presteigne, Stokesay Castle, the renowned Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and the Acton Scott Historic Farm (as seen on TV).
