This immaculately presented apartment is part of a converted Victorian Mansion opposite Ventnor Park, on the edge of the town of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. This Ventnor cottage is perfect for families and friends who are looking to enjoy the many attractions that the town has to offer. Set over three floors, this Ventnor cottage has two bedrooms and on the first floor an open plan living area which displays style and comfort in its well equipped kitchen and dining area where the sunlight cascades in. The Victorian town of Ventnor has a Mediterranean feel with an extraordinary microclimate and was once one of Britain’s most famous Victorian health resorts. Ventnor now has a small harbour where fresh fish can be purchased daily and the clear waters are approached from a gently sloping sand and shingle beach, which are overlooked by many pubs and cafes. The town offers a range of specialty shops selling books, antiques and many other items of interest plus a number of award winning restaurants. The seafront’s eastern promenade leads you along the sea wall to Bonchurch, which is the Islands best preserved Victorian village. Westwards, the Ventnor Botanic Gardens, a famous 22 acre garden, containing Mediterranean, Alpine and medicinal herb plantings is well worth a visit.
