Guest Reviews

    • “A well furnished house with lovely decking both front and back to take advantage of the sunny weather. Close enough to the sea that you can see it from the bedroom windows to check on the tides. Close to the interesting end of the beach for rock pooling and crabbing which the children loved. Very well positioned for the walks and cycling. Would recommend this to any friends or family who want to explore the East side of Kent.”

    • “The place is wonderful. The contact with the owner is really easy. It's really nice to stay there with a family of 3 kids (playroom + tree-house + games are perfect!) and parents can relax too (TV, lounge...) We loved it!”

Minnis Bay is a long sandy bay with a Blue Flag beach backed by grassland and cliffs. It is a popular choice for families looking for a quiet, safe beach for children to enjoy, with a children's play area with a paddling pool. There are coastal cycleways and footpaths and for the more athletic, there are a variety of water sports including sailing, windsurfing and sea canoeing. Minnis Bay is part of the town of Birchington, where you will find local shops, pubs, restaurants and a railway station. Canterbury is only 13 miles away with its history, culture, Cathedral, river trips and theatre.
