It was comfortable and well equipped. Parking space (off street) was brilliant. We could walk to all the shops, restaurants and down to the lake. A variety of eateries close by which were all good. Bowness was a great base to visit lots of beautiful places in the Lake District.

  • "The shelf above the bathroom sink was dangerous."

My husband, while washing bumped his head on it. Your man removed the shelf and put it on the window ledge. The washing machine was leaking and the floor was wet. We called out your man and he said he'd turn the water off to stop anymore water leaking. The stool in front of the dressing table was wobbly so the man took it away. Won't be back to this location.

  • "The Partridge is ideally located for all areas of interest, just a very short walk to Windermere Lakeside."

The parking space is really good, being off-road and exclusively for the apartment. Inside, everything was clean and tidy with a really comfy bed. Small adjustments we feel would make a difference are these...the glass shelf in the shower room needs to be removed as it makes things very awkward when cleaning teeth for example. The drain cover in shower needs to be secured and the wooden stool under the dressing shelf was so loose that it could be dangerous. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. John & Cheryl 2nd to 6th July 2023

  • "Very disappointed with the level of cleanliness."

Thick layer of dust on the black slate shelf in bathroom cobweb in bedroom beside wardrobe down the side of the canvas in the lounge and dust beside bedside cabinet nearest window. Rug in lounge needs a good clean too. The sink in the bathroom is too small and not practical. Crack in corners of wall in lounge and bedroom. It definitely needs a bit of time and attention spent on the property . Location was good. No mention of it being all on open plan in the listing . And I assume it was the owner who came into the apartment while we were there with no introduction or explanation. Not the experience I had hoped for.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear of the issues that you experienced with the cleanliness of the property. We would like to add that had we been made aware during your stay, we would have attended to resolve the issues. We will ask our Housekeeping team to ensure that our high standards continue to be met. The Lakelovers Owner Relations Team Property Owner

  • "Excellent accommodation in a brilliant location - so close to the centre of Bowness."

A great variety of shops, restaurants, bars and activities are only a short walk away. The apartment itself is modern and stylish, very well equipped and very well maintained. Off-street parking at Partridge is a welcome bonus and with a regular bus service close by, the need to use the car can be kept to a minimum (which is really welcome during the busy season in the Lakes!). Have stayed at Partridge twice now and will definitely return and would recommend.
