Lots of information provided in the cottage and by the owner which was very helpful. Also really good to know about the history of the property. The location is ideal for visiting Leighton Moss reserve and there is some great walking from the cottage. We would love to come back again. Thanks very much.

  • "A very comfortable and well-equipped cottage, and a very helpful owner."

It's quite close to Silverdale railway station, and very close to a bus stop, so suitable for public transport users - we don't have a car and could easily get to all the places we wanted to visit, such as Arnside, Warton Crag and Grange-over sands - and there are plenty of delightful walks from the door. The only slight drawback is that the cottage is next to a road, not a very busy one, but with some traffic noise.

We want all our guests to be comfortable in the cottage and I would much prefer to hear any comments direct from them than to have to contact them because of feedback on here. The only way we can improve is by listening and doing our best to make our cottage !00% enjoyable. Joan. Thank Property Owner

The surroundings of the cottage were amazing. Great views from the private tranquil garden. Perfect for relaxing away from it all. Lots of wildlife. Everything was catered for. We stay in holidays cottages at least 4 times a year and this was first class. Felt very reassured with the Covid precautions in place. Immaculately clean. The owners were most helpful and leant us a book on the Silverdale village history which gave us an excellent background to the history.

It was our first holiday as a family of four. The booking process was easy from start to finish and we happened to be there at the same time as the owners. They are lovely people and they were so friendly. Unless I missed it in the manual, we were not told that there was garden furniture in the shed which we didn’t discover until the day before we left.
