The small village of Lindale is situated in the southern Lake District just a few short miles from the coastal estuary and the seaside town of Grange-over-Sands. Sitting on the slopes of Hampsfield Fell it has a true 'Lakeland feel' with narrow streets, traditional dwellings and quaint old pubs. Cartmel, with its famous annual horse race meetings and the pretty coastal resorts of Arnside and Grange are all neighbours and worthy of a visit. Just a short drive away is Lake Windermere and the villages of Bowness-on-Windermere and Hawkshead - which still retain the charm and character that has endeared them to so many. The Property

A truly delightful property! This charming semi detached cottage nestles in a quiet position in the traditional south Lakeland village of Lindale, 3 miles from Grange-over-Sands. Extended in recent years, it seamlessly combines original features and little 'nooks and crannies' with modern comforts, to provide comfortable, bright and airy accommodation. Outside there's a beautiful cottage garden and patio, ideal for warm summer evenings. It's a great location too - the coast is nearby and Lake Windermere is just a short drive away. With lovely views and many walks from the doorstep this is an idyllic retreat to be enjoyed throughout the year!

The cottage was warm and cosy, nice at this time of year. The open fire was nice at night and added to the comfort, although you had to turn off the central heating as it got too warm. The local Pub, Lindale Arms, provided excellent fare and was only a two minute walk from the cottage.
