Nestling under the hills of upper Wensleydale, at the end of a 'no through road', the small and peaceful village of Sedbusk comprises a charming cluster of stone built cottages set amongst lovely Dales countryside. Whilst being completely 'off the beaten track' the village has the benefit of the many amenities of its lively neighbour - the market town of Hawes - just 1.5 miles away. Hawes, Yorkshire's highest market town, is famous for its chocolate-box, picture postcard appeal and as the home of Wensleydale Cheese. The town is an excellent centre for walking and touring Wensleydale and the adjoining dales. This is a great location for walkers, from the castles at Bolton and Middleham, to Hardraw Force, England's highest single drop waterfall.
