Previous visitors' comments about The Buttery:
We liked everything about The Buttery. Lovely walks in the immediate area and the furnishings were first class. A lot of thought has been given to the decor, would definitely recommend it.
Ms Daly, Manchester, February 2012
The ambiance of the property and the welcoming nature of the owner was most appreciated. The property decor was absolutely beautiful and I will not hesitate to return to the property next year.
Ms Korun, Canberra, November 2011
The Buttery is a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location, ideal for walking and exploring the local villages, but still remote enough for some peace and quiet. The cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated and has everything you need for a great break. Although there is no washing machine in the property, there is a laundrette in Hawes (4 miles away) where we were able to wash and dry a full load for only £6.
Mrs MacKenzie, Carterton, October 2011
A cosy cottage with great decor and furnishings. A great location, we would definitely recommend and return in the future.
