Previous visitors' comments about Higher Stoodley Farm:

We enjoyed our Christmas at Higher Stoodley farm. The house was comfortable and cosy. The dining room great for us all to sit down for our Christmas dinner. The house has plenty of character and space for a large group - we were 12, including a 15 month old. We walked to Stoodley Pike and along the canal to Hebden Bridge and Todmorden and sampled some of the recommended pubs. A great holiday. Thank you.

Very well equipped for the number of people in our group. Really helpful owners who left lots of guidance, wood for the fire and the essentials we had forgotten to bring, such as dishwasher tablets. Everyone who stayed wanted to come back at some point and we will be looking to book again! I would recommend this property to all my friends and family. We have had a very happy weekend - thank you!

'Higher Stoodley Farm' was an ideal venue for our girlie weekend. It had such a warm, welcoming feel to it that we immediately felt at home. The personal recommendations from the owner about the local amenities were very useful and added to the welcoming atmosphere. I would strongly recommend the cottage to anyone.
Mrs Clarke, Gateshead, October 2011

This was an excellent property for our group of 7 adults (and 2 dogs!) with plenty of car parking space for the four cars. Inside there was sufficient space for us all with room for people to escape for 10 mins to themselves when they needed to. The farmhouse was clean and exceptionally well equipped with wonderful views and walks directly from the door. The garden is enclosed and safe for animals and children with a picnic bench for outdoor eating. If you like more formal dining then you will love the dining room with large table and views! The farm suited our needs perfectly and we had a great time. We all hope to be back one day. Thank you to the owners for sharing their property with us and to Sykes for their easy booking and arrangement procedures.
