The attractive, little Pennine town of Hebden Bridge sits within the Calderdale area and provides home to the picturesque Rochdale canal and a delightful Victorian railway station. Excellent walking country, with the National Trust owned Hardcastle Crags and the Pennine Way close by, this delightful location is also the first 'Walkers are Welcome' town in the UK, a scheme supported by the Ramblers’ Association. Alternatively, a scenic ride over the moors takes you to Haworth where the splendid Parsonage Museum commemorates the famous Bronte family who lived there. The area is also a must for steam railway enthusiasts who will enjoy the thriving Worth Valley Railway, whilst the highly acclaimed Eureka Museum is in Halifax, noted for its unique Piece Hall and its Victorian architecture. Skipton, “Gateway to the Dales”, is an easy and scenic car ride away.

It was just lovely. The owners were very friendly. The cottage and the area was perfect. There are excellent walks straight from the door in fact you really don't need to use your car at all . We will definitely return.

The standard of decor, furnishings and cleanliness of the cottage was superb. The hot tub was regularly serviced and always available. The location of the cottage was ideal for a walking holiday. The cottage was very well designed for two people.
