A charming, 17th century, stone-built semi-detached cottage, situated on the edge of the busy town of High Bentham, a few miles from the famous Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent.

This cottage is a real delight and provides the perfect holiday home for couples and small families to enjoy this wonderful corner of the Yorkshire Dales.

The mature garden offers a superb retreat and is ideal for dining alfresco.

For those who prefer to eat out the local pub is only a two minute walk away serving excellent food and it's pet friendly.

The beautiful, surrounding countryside provides a host of stunning walks, including the famous Ingleton Falls Walk and good cycling routes, whilst there are numerous touring opportunities to the Lake District, Trough of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The small Yorkshire market town of High Bentham is ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the north and east, with the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, stretching away to the south. The Bowland fells and the nearby three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent provide excellent terrain for the enthusiastic walker, while the delights of the Lake District and the spectacular coastal scenery of Morecambe Bay are only half an hour away. High Bentham is a busy little town with a weekly cattle market, good local shops and services, as well as a good choice of pubs serving food, while the 18-hole golf course is well known for its stunning views and friendly atmosphere. The High Bentham area is threaded with public footpaths and rights of way that are well documented in a local walking guide and cover locations such as the River Wenning and the Great Stone of Fourstones, a relic of the ice age and a spectacular viewpoint. The market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton and Kendal are all within easy driving distance, making this lovely little town a great holiday base.
