“Lovely, warm cottage, with a little ...”
Lovely, warm cottage, with a little garden area which was perfect for our dog. The owner left a fantastic welcome pack of wine, tea, coffee, milk and cleaning products, which was particularly helpful as the cottage is quite remote.

The cottage is set in a delightful position overlooking the nearby meadows, and out towards the famous Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent.

Full of character and charm, it provides an excellent getaway for a couple or small family wishing to explore this popular area.

The cottage features a spacious kitchen/diner with modern shaker-style fittings and a centre island, making it a great room to relax and prepare sumptuous evening meals.

There is handy storage space under the stairs, and the cosy sitting room is stylish and leads through to a pretty rear garden, an ideal spot to sit out and watch the world go by.

The picturesque Dales village of Clapham is situated in the heart of the famous "Three Peaks" country. Surrounded by spectacular limestone, the Nature Trail at Clapham passes by a lake and mature woodland before reaching Ingleborough Show Cave - spectacular whatever the weather! Follow the footpath further and wonder at the magnificent Trow Gill, before continuing past Gaping Gill (Britain’s deepest pothole) on the way to the summit of Ingleborough. The nearby White Scar Caves are also well worth a visit and there is a superb four-mile waterfall walk in the village of Ingleton. Clapham offers a village shop, a vintage gift shop and a bespoke wool and handicraft shop, as well as a pub, a bar and cafes. The village is an ideal base for walking, climbing or potholing and horse/pony trekking, as there are numerous bridle paths in the area. An excellent centre for touring the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland, with easy access to both the Lake District and the west coast.
