The Property

Kirkby Lonsdale 3 miles. The thoughtful conversion of an old stone-built barn and stable block, dating back to 1746, has resulted in this wonderful detached property of much character. Situated in a pretty position next to Fleshbeck stream in the scattered hamlet of Mansergh, The Old Stables enjoys views over a wooded dell, teeming with bluebells in the spring, and even the occasional deer! Upside down to take advantage of both the pretty views and the many original exposed timbers, the conversion has been carried out to the highest possible standard including solid oak floors upstairs, and underfloor heating throughout. The open plan living area has French doors out onto a small balcony, overlooking the garden area and woods. A magnificent conversion, warm and welcoming, ideal for any time of the year.
