The location of the cottage in the centre of Kirkby Stephen was really special. The cottage was warm, cosy and very comfortable. Just right for a romantic retreat!
Mr Sykes, Liverpool, November 2011

Excellent cottage right in the heart of Kirkby Stephen. Beautifully appointed. Fabulous jacuzzi bath - just right after a day walking in the Howgill Fells.
Mrs Blackbird, Chester le Street, September 2011

Laburnum Cottage is perfect for couples without children. A very comfortable bed and a lovely whirlpool bath. Very tastefully decorated and clean. It's set in a good location to visit both the Cumbrian and North Yorkshire sights.
Mrs Blackshaw, Derby, July 2011

Lovely flat above a flower shop with lots of space for 2. A nice cosy get away within easy reach of most of the towns within the lakes. We would definitely recommend.
