Previous visitors' comments about Byland Cottage:
This cottage was an ideal base for touring the neighbouring Lake District, Yorkshire towns and villages. Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale both 10 mins drive away. The owner was very helpful and the property itself was one of the best we've stayed in for a long time. Very reasonably priced.

The Sykes administration was excellent, uncomplicated and your staff were courteous and helpful. The location of our rental was excellent and the reception we received was superb. I will not hesitate to recommend your company to everyone, thank you.
Mr Lofts, Retaud, January 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage had everything we wanted and more. It is well proportioned and three couples stayed without feeling that we were on top of each other. The kitchen is very well equipped.

This was a wonderful weekend made extra special by going to Byland Cottage. The owner was fantastic and very accommodating for our needs. The local area was ideal for a secluded getaway but still only 10 minutes to supermarket/bars/shops etc. I would fully recommend this cottage for a weekend girly break.
