Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall are nearby, with lovely walks throughout the area, offering views of the Lakeland Mountains, the Howgills and Morecambe Bay. Preston Patrick is ideally placed for exploring South Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales, Lake Windermere and the wider National Park. A superb base whatever the time of year!
