  • "Nice property in a great location for visiting the Northern Lakes."

Very short walk into Penrith town with local facilities close by. Excellent communication with the owner in advance giving helpful tips and hints for parking, shopping etc. Owner also very quick to respond to an issue we had regarding the televisions. Would return if looking to stay in the area again.

Hi Chris. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay at the Oaks Cottage. Thank you for your great feedback. We hope to see you again if you’re back in the area. Property Owner

It wasdifficult to get the TV in the lounge to function properly and the Tv in the dining area wecouldn'tgettowork at all

Hi Sandra, thanks for staying at the Oaks Cottage, The TV in the lounge has 2 remotes, one for the television and one for the Sky box. The television is the dining room had a fire-stick in the back of it, and pulls out from the wall so guests are able to add in their own devices if needed. I’m sorry you had trouble with the television. All this information is in the property welcome pack, and I’m always contactable if you need any help, as my contact details are provided. Hopefully we will see you again, thanks for your visit. Property Owner

  • "Spent a lovely few days at the cottage."

Excellent location and easy to find. A couple of grumbles included a radiator in one of the bedrooms did not work and an extra shower room would have been useful for us. That being said we would definitely stay there again and had a very enjoyable stay.

Thanks Pamela. I’m glad you had a good time and thanks for your positive feedback. All the radiators in the property work, they each have a thermostatic valve on them to help control the room temperature, so it may have been set to a lower temperature. I’m always contactable for all my guests in case of any questions or queries. Hopefully we will see you again. Thank you. Property Owner

  • "It was a lovely place to stay, clean and convenient for local shopping and restaurant."

The only drawback was there was only 1 bathroom and sometimes it was difficult for 6 people, otherwise everything was great.

Hi Peter. Thank you for your great feedback. Great to hear you enjoyed your stay in the Oaks Cottage and Penrith. Hopefully we will see you again. Thank you. Property Owner
