Kirkby Lonsdale 6 miles; Settle 12 miles.
Nestling under Ingleborough, one of the famous Three Peaks, on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the attractive village of Ingleton offers a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat. The centre of the village is pretty with narrow and winding streets, centred on a tiny market place. The village's well known White Scar Caves (a mile outside the village on the Hawes road) are open to the public and have a dazzling display of stalactites and stalagmites, caverns and a huge underground lake. There is a superb circular waterfall walk (“Falls Walk”) which takes in some impressive cascades. An excellent location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales and within easy reach of the Lake District.

Previous visitors' comments about Warth Barn:
I don't know that I can pinpoint a single thing - the whole holiday was exceptional. The owners and their family were all very welcoming, and the cottage was incredible.
Ms Le Moyne, Montreal, April 2012
The property was ideally situated for both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The Barn was well equipped, very comfortable and the welcome pack of cake and wine was a nice gesture.
Mr Hart, Romsey, September 2011
The Barn was wonderful, every little detail had been thought of from wine and cake on arrival to stair gates, plug covers, books, games, bath toys, the list is endless. Everything was also of a very good quality. The location was lovely, very quiet but with lots to do nearby and the children loved the trampoline in the garden!
Mrs Lloyd, Great Yarmouth, July 2011
The location was fantastic, the owners and neighbours were very friendly and welcoming. The property had everything we could have asked for.
Mr Mawson, Birkenhead, May 2011
