The property

Immaculately presented, end-terrace cottage which has been renovated with care and attention to detail to incorporate some old and new, in the picturesque village of Staveley in the Lake District National Park.

This spacious cottage is ideal for families and friends who wish to spend time together in this stunning area to explore both locally and further afield.

This lovely cottage has a well-equipped kitchen for cooking up fabulous meals to be enjoyed in the large dining room, ideal to sit and enjoy meals together and discuss the day's activities, or plan the exploration ahead.

When returning from the day's activities there is a useful sun room with soft seating overlooking the garden which also has a washer/dryer, heater and dehumidifier for drying any wet clothes.

There are three comfortable bedrooms which have either an en-suite or a sink, together with a family bathroom with a bath, which you may wish to relax in and soak after a day's exertion.

The cottage also benefits from off road parking for two cars and has a superb large sunny back garden with areas of borders and lawn, that can be enclosed, if required, for pets and children.

The garden also has a large contemporary sun house for relaxing, or it can be used for secure bike storage.

This delightful cottage is in the heart of the busy village which has a surprising amount of amenities for one so small, with a train station, cafes and restaurants, a local theatre and an excellent local pub with garden by the River Kent.

There is also the local Hawkshead Brewery to visit, with many ales to sample, together with artisan cafe and bakeries.

There is also the largest bicycle shop in the UK, and indeed, this area is superb for cycling and walking being nestled under the entrance to Kentmere Valley with its stunning scenery.

This area is really just away from the maddening crowds and there are numerous walks on all the surrounding horseshoe of fells, known as the Kentmere Round.

For cycling enthusiasts, the descent from Garburn, just west of Kentmere, is one of the most challenging in the Lakes.

Gentler strolls are a plenty along the river Kent or surrounding fells.

Anglers are also catered for, and you can acquire a day's license from the Post Office for fly fishing in Kentmere Tarn.

There is an array of other water activities available and sailing, canoeing and cruising can be found on Lake Windermere, just a short drive away.

This delightful cottage is in a superb location, whatever you holiday requirements making it ideal to visit year round.
