This cosy annexe is attached to the owner’s home in the hamlet of Yealand Redmayne, not far from Silverdale and Carnforth on the border of Lancashire and Cumbria.

This is an ideal property for a romantic break for couples to explore this area in the South Lakes.

Inside this all ground floor annexe there is a good-sized sitting room with fantastic views of the countryside and even as far as the Yorkshire Three Peaks.

The kitchen is well-equipped with all you need to cook a cosy romantic meal for the evening.

There is also a king-size double bedroom with en-suite facilities.

From the sitting room, the patio doors take you to the patio garden with furniture; a good place to sit and relax whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of the countryside.

Yealand Redmayne borders Yealand Conyers and the villages share their facilities and there are plenty of areas for walking and cycling with the local pub a few minutes’ walk away.

The New Inn Pub has recently been refurbished and has now reopened as the social hub of the local community.

A short drive takes you to the village of Silverdale which has a good selection of shops, cafes and pubs.

Silverdale is situated on the shores of Morecambe Bay, where you can follow the coast and cliffs along the shore to Jenny Brown’s Point sitting on the elevated giant stone bench on route, whilst enjoying the views of the expanse of the estuary or maybe watch the tide sweep over the sands.

Arnside itself has a bustling promenade with café and local pubs serving local and award-winning ales, and has the local infamous fish and chip shop you can sample for supper.

For a great day out you can take a trip to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve, where birdwatchers will delight at the variety of birds and wildlife as well as being able to walk through the grounds of Leighton Hall and Warton Crag or for an alternative golfers will enjoy Silverdale Golf Club.

Further afield takes you to the Lake District with lakes, tarns and pikes to explore as well as Lune Valley, The Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland.

The local surrounding area is a “nature lover’s paradise” with stunning limestone pavements and wonderful woodland walks through countryside alive with rare plants, trees and wildlife - the internationally renowned Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve is just 1 mile away from the village. Further afield, but within easy touring distance, are the Lake District and Lune Valley, The Yorkshire Dales and The Forest of Bowland.
