The cottage was a perfect base for exploring the area and there are numerous walks from the doorstep. The overall comfort of the cottage was excellent and it was lovely to return to each evening after a days walking and relax. This is a wonderful little place.

The peaceful location and the views and the cosy log burning fire.

Gamekeepers Cottage is a lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. It is perfect for trips to the Lake District, or the Yorkshire Dales. There are pubs nearby and the next supermarket is only three miles away. It is definitely a place to go back to!

Mr Immekus, Essen, August 2013

The setting for the cottage was fantastic with views across the countryside. The garden was spectacular and the owners couldn't have been more hospitable and helpful.
