Previous visitors' comments about Penny Barn:
The setting was superb, and the barn itself mostly living up to expectations. George, our Lab, seemed well accepted by the owner, and provision was made for his needs. The barn itself was well provisioned with bits and bobs - washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, etc. There was also a very acceptable and much appreciated bottle of wine waiting for us.

We fell in love with this cottage...did not want to return home. We are going to book again for the spring!
Best Cottage we have stayed at!
Mr Hewitt, Stalybridge, November 2012
Penny Barn is the best holiday let we have been to. It was very clean, cosy and an excellent standard all round. Its going to be a dearer holiday than we thought as its made our minds up to put in a new kitchen at home.

Perfect property in a peaceful rural setting. The location was good for exploring and the weather was kind to us. The week flew by.
