  • "Lovely cottage with the amenities you need in a very peaceful setting."

Several walks on the doorstep. It is next to a small garden centre (you don’t notice this as private entrance past the centre) . Alford town centre is a good walk or a five minute drive away where there is a co-op and tearooms and a pub, although my husband said the bar at the hotel served very nice real ale. The coast is about 20 minutes away with a big dog friendly beach. Mablethorpe is about the same for a Tesco if you need it.

Plenty of walks on the doorstep for walking with or without a dog and a safe secure garden . The cottage was pretty well equipped only a couple of minor issues , eg nowhere to dry wet clothes or beach towels and a mat is definitely needed in the shower as it gets very slippy when wet. Other than that we had a really good holiday at Primrose Cottage

Liquid hand cleaner, washing up liquid and various cleaning item's. Only negative is that there is no shaver point for charging shaver and tooth brushes and a hair dryer would be useful but this did not stop us enjoying the cottage and it's location, nice to have use of tenis court and walks around grounds and surrounding countryside. A small garden with a patio and grassed area to let the dog out at night before bed, but you could take the dog a walk up the lane to woodland or around the grounds (pond you can walk around) and small caravan site. 20 minutes and you are at a lovely dog friendly beach where we let the pooch run free, other interesting areas nearby if you want but we booked to get away from the dreaded fireworks and it did the job and am going back at New Year.
