This is a striking detached cottage boasting a wealth of character and is ideally located on the Belvoir Estate, in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir in Leicestershire.

Guests can relax in the sitting room, on the sumptuous sofas that are positioned around the roaring open fire, ideal for those chilly evenings.

On a summer's day the sitting room doors to the garden can be swung open, allowing guests to enjoy the delights of alfresco dining, family games or a picnic on the lawn.

The stunning Belvoir Castle, ancestral home of the Dukes of Rutland is just a ten minute walk away and is open to the public on selected days throughout the summer months.

The nearby village of Woolstorpe has an excellent village pub and boasts Woolsthorpe Manor, the birthplace and home of Sir Isaac Newton, with its orchard being home to the most famous apple tree in the world!

Grantham, Lincoln, Melton Mowbray and beautiful Stamford are all within easy reach and offer a great opportunity to spend a day discovering plenty of interesting attractions.

Rutland Water Nature Reserve is just a half hours’ drive away and offers a multitude of activities for wildlife enthusiasts of all ages throughout the year.

Visitors can also enjoy the beautiful countryside and discover the fantastic food the region has to offer. Just one mile away, the village of Woolsthorpe located in a designated conservation area boasts evidence of medieval occupation and nestles alongside the River Devon on the border with Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. The ancient market town of Grantham lies in the heart of Lincolnshire, between historic Lincoln and Stamford.
