Rippingale is a small picturesque village sitting in open farmland to the east of the A15, some 5 miles north of Bourne in Lincolnshire. It has its own pub, village hall, church and shop/post office. Bourne has a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways, as well as a good sized supermarket. There is lovely walking and some superb bridleways to explore, plenty of attractions just a short drive away including the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, Doddington Hall and the Lincolnshire coastline, as well as Norfolk attractions including King's Lynn, Thetford Forest and the quaint villages of the Norfolk coast. Rippingale also makes an ideal base for antique hunters, while Stamford and Grantham both have a good selection of shops.

The Property

Manor Stables, a wonderful Rippingale cottage, is a beautiful 3 bedroom detached bungalow set in just under an acre of grounds, just a few minutes’ walk from the amenities of Rippingale village. Formerly the stable block for Rippingale's manor house, the property still retains many original features, including hay feeders, troughs and stable doors. The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 and each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room. There is a good sized country kitchen, a dining room for entertaining, and a large living area with inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove, ideal for those cosy evenings in. The gardens are made up of formal areas laid to lawn, a coppice and paddock, with exclusive access for any horses or horseboxes accompanying you! With so much to see and do in the area, including horse riding, lovely walks, country houses, market towns and quaint seaside resorts, this really is ideal for a quiet break or a horse riding holiday in picturesque Lincolnshire.
